Meet Our Staff

Chad is a current resident of Effingham, IL where he was born and raised. He enjoys spending his free time outside but especially when he is fishing, golfing and spoiling his grandchildren. Chad has been a salesperson here at Dan Hecht Chevrolet-Toyota since July 2016. His favorite part of his job is having the opportunity to meet and interact with new people each day. Jeff is originally from Manhattan, IL and currently lives in West Union, IL. He enjoys playing piano, reading and gardening in his free time. Jeff has been a part of our sales team since March 2014 and truly enjoys seeing his customers’ familiar faces when it’s time for service on their new vehicle. Elizabeth is the mother of five amazing children and resides in Effingham, Illinois. Elizabeth is eager to help her customers find the perfect vehicle with the desired options, performance, and budget. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family.

Gene currently resides in Teutopolis, Illinois, where he grew up. Here at Dan Hecht, he is a member of our sales team. His favorite part of his job is having fun with the customers so their car buying experience is not stressful. He enjoys doing things with his family and friends and enjoys watching sports. Dennis currently resides in Altamont, Illinois. When he’s not at work, he enjoys working out and spending time with his daughter. Here at the dealership, he manages the new and used vehicle lots and the whole vehicle inventory.

Bill currently resides in Teutopolis, Illinois. In his free time, he enjoys fishing and hunting with friends. Here at Dan Hecht he is a service and parts driver, coordinating deliveries with customers. He has been working here for thirty-seven years.

Bill is originally from and currently resides in Teutopolis, IL. Bill managers our Parts team and enjoys helping his service team and local customers find the right parts and accessories to fit their vehicle needs. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, being away from work and volunteering with our local scouts.

Duane is originally from and currently resides in Neoga, IL. Duane is a member of our Parts Department and enjoys helping his customers find the right parts to solve their vehicle issues. Duane has been a member of our team since 2016.

Jerry currently resides here in Effingham, Illinois. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his sons and grandchildren and staying in shape. He’s loves swimming, golfing, snow and water skiing, traveling, and playing piano and guitar.

Anthony currently resides here in Effingham, Illinois. He enjoys spending time with his family.. He loves baseball, hanging out with friends, and playing softball. At Dan Hecht, he works in Accounting, preparing financial statements and month end schedules.
